Dr. Mercedes Porro, D.D.S. is a Prosthodontist & General/Family Dentist. She graduated from NYU (New York University) Dental School in 1993 and completed her General Practice residency at the East Orange Veterans’ Administration (VA) Hospital. Dr. Porro continued her post-graduate education at SUNY (State University of New York), Buffalo VA, specializing in Prosthodontics (1994-97), and concluded her residency in Maxillofacial Prosthetics at NYU (New York University) & Manhattan VA Hospital.
In 2011, Dr. Porro received a Top Doctor & Dentist Award From Top Doc New York and has been nominated several times for Top Dentist in NJ. In 2013 & 2014, she was recognized by the Latino American Who’s Who and was selected for inclusion in the 2013 edition.
Dr. Porro comes from a long family history of dental professionals and distinguishes her dentistry as a unique blend of science and art, emphasizing quality of care. Her practice offers a variety of aesthetic and restorative dental services. Dr. Porro completes continuing educational credits every year to satisfy and update all current new dental materials, procedures, and technology in the field. She is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA).
